How to make the scar disappear?

Scars … Who does not have them? All you have to do is trip over in childhood and break the knee or have an appendicitis for which surgery was required …

But who among you works on them to avoid unpleasant consequences?!

The scar is the consequence of injury or surgery. It is unfortunately less flexible than the skin, which causes many problems. Not only can it interfere with functioning, limit the range of motion, it also looks ugly and can lead to complexes. In that case, how to deal with it and what to do to make it as comfortable as possible?

Let’s start with the fact that each scar is different. How it will look depends on how big and deep the wound was and how the healing process went. It is also affected by the area of the body that suffered an injury. Neckline, chest or ear area predispose the scar to be often convex and not very aesthetic.

Many factors influence the final scar formation, including: lifestyle, addictions (especially smoking!), poor diet, as well as genetic factors. The whole process can take up to several months, but it is important to start therapy as soon as possible.

So what to do? First of all, it is worth going to a physiotherapist who will mobilise the scar – whether directly or indirectly (on the surrounding tissues). In addition, you can help yourself with various products aiming at softening the scar. Just remember that such products are not suitable for all scars.
