Therapeutic massage

Therapeutic massage uses touch to create well-being and relaxation. We perform it to relieve pain of various origins or reduce or increase muscle tone. This massage also increases the flow of blood to the massaged place, hence, accelerates the healing process. We use techniques of stroking, rubbing, kneading or patting skin of varying strength and intensity. We also use various methods of modern physiotherapy adapted to specific injuries and diseases.

Indications for therapeutic massage:
– Injuries (sprains, contusions, dislocations)
– Muscle and joint overload
– Muscle contractions and atrophies
– Fatigue after exercise
– Degeneration
– Pain syndromes of various origins

Contraindications to therapeutic massage:
– Interruption of skin continuity
– Early states after bone fracture
– Fever
– Acute inflammation
– Uncontrolled and unbalanced hypertension
– Varicose veins and leg ulcers
– Bleeding and the possibility of its occurrence (e.g. haemophilia)
– Advanced atherosclerosis
– Advanced osteoporosis
– Aortic aneurysm
– Tumor
